  1. 1La Ceiba to Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. Our shuttle picks you up in La Ceiba on Wednesday and drives you across the Honduras and Guatemala border to Puerto Barrios.
  2. 2Boat via Livingston. From the Guatemalan Caribbean coast you continue by boat through Livingston (boat ticket paid separately).
  3. 3Arrive in Punta Gorda, Belize. You land in Punta Gorda, the gateway to southern Belize, in under 20 hours from La Ceiba.
  4. 4Continue on. From Punta Gorda you can head on to Placencia or Belize City.

Getting from the north coast of Honduras to Belize on your own means stringing together buses, a border crossing and a boat schedule on the Guatemalan side. With one booking you have one plan: we drive you to the coast for the boat to Belize, and you just show up.

It is a natural next leg after the Bay Islands. Spend time on Roatán or Utila, take the ferry back to La Ceiba, and continue to Belize on Wednesday.
